Stock Controller

Harrison Spinks are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join the Goods In Department.

The main duties will consist of making sure all stock counts are conducted on the required day, booking in of all stock on AX,  ensure delivery notes are returned to Goods In office within 24hrs and responsibility for the investigation into invoice queries regarding booking in errors and stock errors.

The ideal candidate will have stock management experience, good communication, numeracy and IT skills and have an open approach to working within stock areas.

Artworker / Studio Assistant

Harrison Spinks are currently seeking applications for an Artworker/Studio Assistant to join the Graphics team.

The role involves creating artwork from briefs received from the Marketing team, amending existing artwork and assisting in the art working of printed literature, adverts and occasionally digital content. The individual will also assist with the production and dispatch of POS materials.

It is essential the candidate has a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with a minimum of 2 years experience within the print or creative industry. They must have a varied portfolio and an excellent eye for detail.

Logistics Manager

Harrison Spinks are recruiting for a Logistic Manager to provide management and leadership to Harrison Spinks’ warehousing and outbound logistics.

The main duties will consist of ensuring our people and systems deliver a high performing, efficient distribution operation, through the ownership of the Logistics and Warehouse Operations. The role will be responsible for overseeing the sites outbound logistics budget and SLAs, ‘Make Things Happen’ by coaching, motivating and developing others and implement time and error saving processes.

The ideal candidate will be degree level qualified, have a CILT or Logistics qualification and have at least 5 years management experience in logistics. They will have experience in managing 3PL transportation and carrier partners and be IOSH Managing Safely qualified.

Mattress Side Stitcher

Harrison Spinks are seeking applications for the position of an experienced Mattress Side Stitcher.

The role will involve clipping and stitching mattresses; attaching the border to the springs and fillings using a clipping gun, needle and thread. This is to be completed on a ‘right first time’ basis. You will be required to work and liaise with team leaders whilst also communicating with other operators when necessary. You may be required to work overtime when necessary to keep up with production demand.

The ideal candidate will have experience of tape edging, a strong work ethic, be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. Relevant training will be given to the successful applicant where necessary.

This is a key role in our company, so we ask that candidates have prior tape edge machine experience and be skilled, efficient and quality-focused. The role will involve meeting tape edge production targets and daily deadlines for mattress output.
