Somnus has launched its Special Edition model, The Royal Britannia. In the 1950’s Somnus was first commissioned to supply Her Majesty’s Royal Yacht Britannia with luxury mattresses. The new Royal Britannia is a very special limited edition model to celebrate over 65 years since the yacht first launched for service.
The Royal Britannia is handcrafted with sumptuous layers of natural fillings including mohair, silk and British Eco Wool sourced from our Yorkshire farm. Combined with three rows of side stitching, the option for a luxury link and the finest of quality soft feel woven damask fabric – the Britannia is a masterpiece.
This unique model contains 9,000 of our Sensa Intelligent Pocket springs. These unique springs ensure you always maintain the perfect sleeping posture. The springs help support your body more evenly and reduce pressure points, providing a more restful sleep.
The headboard shown is the ‘Victoria’ in the fabric ‘Seven Ocre’.
