House keeper / Cleaner — Part Time — Hornington Manor

The core hours per week will be 24 hours, working 4 days over 7, Monday through to Sunday on a business need basis.

Hornington Manor is a unique barn, wedding venue set within the grounds of a working farm in Bolton Percy, near Tadcaster. We currently have a part time vacancy for a cleaner/Housekeeper.

The successful candidate will carry out daily cleaning service as instructed by Head Housekeeper, this could be some of our 19 ensuite bedrooms, living areas within the Manor and / or Shepherd Huts.

Key Duties:

  • The housekeeping role will cover hospitality/hotel hours which will involve weekend turn arounds on a rota basis.
  • To work in a proactive manner supporting/assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so.
  • To undertake adhoc duties as directed/ operationally required
  • All tasks must be carried out the high standards stipulated by the Head Housekeeper and in line with training given.
  • To implement any corrective action requested following spot checks
  • To ensure that all work undertaken is strictly carried out in accordance with Hornington Manor's Health and Safety procedures.

About you:

As a Housekeeping professional, you will have the confidence working within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining excellent time keeping and standards of cleanliness.

The ability to learn new skills quickly, multitask, and remain calm under pressure whilst being a key team player.
