Sales & Marketing Exectuive — Carlton Manor, Kingston Upon Hull

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive play a key role in supporting our in-house sales and marketing department and will gain a wide breadth of experience across the full marketing mix.

Harrison Spinks Events is a unique event business based in North Yorkshire, with its own charming venues including Hornington Manor, Carlton Manor and The Motorist.

Carlton Manor is a charming luxury manor house close to Beverley and Hull in the heart of the East Yorkshire countryside. The site has recently been rebranded into a stunning multi-use site for weddings, corporate events, and staycations.

Reporting into the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, The Sales and Marketing Executive will be exposed to digital marketing including social media, content management, PR and advertising, photography, creating brochures, as well as internal communications, event management, and sales and customer account management.

Full time position, working 5 days over 7. Weekend working will be required.

Key Duties include:

  • Support the General Manager at Carlton Manor to drive enquiries, viewings, and bookings.
  • Promotion of Carlton Manor wedding venue and glamping pods through all marketing channels.
  • Creating, drafting, and managing social media content across several channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Creating short video content including filming and editing for use on social media.
  • Maintenance of the Carlton Manor website to regularly update and refresh the imagery and content.
  • Creating and drafting regular blog content for the website.
  • Monitor competitor behaviour and market trends and report any findings to the team.
  • Assist with arrangements and co-ordinate venue open days to promote the venue.
  • Gather content, design, and create regular newsletter communications to specific venue audiences through Mailchimp.
  • Optimise and maintain 3rd party directory listings on Wedding Planning websites. Identify areas to further promote the business through PR, Advertising and Marketing

Key Skills & Experience:

As an experienced marketing executive, you will have previous experience of working in a marketing or digital marketing role and possess the knowledge of managing websites and social media platforms.

With a keen eye for detail, you will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally whilst having a creative flair to add to marketing objectives.

As a key team player, you will have a flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis for requests.
