Operations Manager — Hospitality

Harrison Spinks currently have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to work at our Events business.

Main Duties:

  • To drive wedding sales, aiming for three weddings per week
  • Responsible for the health & safety of all staff, visitors and guests on site
  • Ensuring that all contractors on site submit risk assessments and method statements and that they follow them when on site to ensure safety
  • Liaise with the H&S department to ensure all H&S requirements are met.
  • Ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely manner
  • Continuously work towards improving sales and service
  • Operationally and strategically lead on events
  • Lead weekly meetings to run through upcoming events and conduct daily briefings with the team
  • Lead, manage and motivate the team
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing program and recommend improvements
  • Assist in recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities
  • Establish strong and professional relationships with guests
  • Deliver inspirational show rounds in order to showcase the spaces to prospective clients
  • Authorisation of weekly payroll, ensuring all personnel details/hours of work/rates of pay are correct
  • Have good command of Oakwood budget and authorise all business expenses
