We are looking for an enthusiastic, and creative Commis Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team in our new business venture, The Arnage Restaurant, an unforgettable dining experience like no other.
he successful candidate will work closely with the senior Chefs to deliver stunning food whilst assisting our kitchen team with exemplary food preparation and culinary activities in a busy kitchen while maintaining high business standards.
5 days over 7, 40 hours per week. Involves weekend & evening working
Helping the Head Chef to ensure all kitchens have everything required to get and maintain a 5 Star EHO Status
Ensure all the Kitchen team work to the current Food Safety Act and Safe Food Better Business policy and maintain all areas of the kitchen with a cleaning schedule and record all cleaning in accordance with Safe Food Better Business.
Report any dangerous or faulty equipment to the Head or Sous Chef and make safe as necessary and work to Food and Beverage regulations and Health and Safety at work acts.
As required work across all sites owned by us, implementing best practises with our extended kitchen teams
As a Commis Chef you will be passionate about food and may not have any experience of being a chef in a professional kitchen but be driven and willing to learn.
You will be able to demonstrate creativity, flair and consistency while working to high standards and will possess a good attitude to food hygiene and willing to be trained in all aspects of this across the kitchens.
As a result focussed individual, you will be resilient, can multitask and have the drive to lead their team to success in a high paced service.
